According to this article, there might be plans of a Friday Night Lights movie picking up where Coach and Mrs Coach left off, despite there already being a first Friday Night Lights movie, which was based on the book of the same name (which i recommend each and every single one of you following this blog to buy and read, if you haven’t already).
On one hand, i know that we are all excited if this does turn out to be true, but on the other, i feel slightly apprehensive of this idea because the series ended on an extremely high note, and i wouldn’t want a movie to spoil that. If any continuation HAS to be told, i’d rather they do it in the form of a tv series than a movie. Your thoughts?
I have the same thoughts. Let’s face it, the series end was phenomenal in regards to all the characters. And as much as I’d love to see Connie & Kyle as Tami & Coach together again I’m afraid that it won’t live up to my expectations.
But let’s see if it turns out true and what the whole concept will be…
