Connie Britton returns to TV with 'Nashville'

coachandmrscoach:

“American Horror Story” could sweep the Globes given how well co-creator Ryan Murphy’s shows “Nip/Tuck” and “Glee” have fared with the HFPA in the past. Connie, who could reap dual Best Drama Actress bids [Friday Night Lights and American Horror Story] says, “If that were to happen, it would be incredible. But I would be happy with them considering either one of the shows.”

Connie Britton on different directions of ‘American Horror Story,’ ‘Friday Night Lights’ (Video)

*** Not gonna lie… if she gets nominated for American Horror Story and NOT Friday Night Lights, it will be a travesty.

Agree. I am happy for any kind of recognition she gets but Connie in FNL »» Connie in American Horror Story simply because FNL »» than pretty much everything else on TV.

Katims talks about the possible FNL movie.

coachandmrscoach:

Jason Katims writing the script for the new FNL movie… yes please!

Friday Night Lights movie, based on the tv show, which was based on the movie, based on the book?

fuckyyeahfridaynightlights:

According to this article, there might be plans of a Friday Night Lights movie picking up where Coach and Mrs Coach left off, despite there already being a first Friday Night Lights movie, which was based on the book of the same name (which i recommend each and every single one of you following this blog to buy and read, if you haven’t already).

On one hand, i know that we are all excited if this does turn out to be true, but on the other, i feel slightly apprehensive of this idea because the series ended on an extremely high note, and i wouldn’t want a movie to spoil that. If any continuation HAS to be told, i’d rather they do it in the form of a tv series than a movie. Your thoughts?

I have the same thoughts. Let’s face it, the series end was phenomenal in regards to all the characters. And as much as I’d love to see Connie & Kyle as Tami & Coach together again I’m afraid that it won’t live up to my expectations.
But let’s see if it turns out true and what the whole concept will be…

Another Movie for Connie Britton

By Virtue Fall, which will mark Sheldon Turner’s directorial debut. The project is currently casting, with Eric Bana, James Spader, Carla Gugino, Ryan Phillippe and Connie Britton already on board.

Connie Britton on This American Life

coachandmrscoach:

Connie Britton narrates a war letter on this episode of “This American Life”… Her first letter starts about 10:30 in and then at around 22:05… sounds like she is on it throughout the whole 60-minute episode…
