Connie Britton in InStyle Magazine [X]
Her celebrity crush? George Clooney

DETAILS: What are your thoughts on the movie?
____________________________CONNIE BRITTON: So, I had a meeting at Jason Katims’ office. And we were talking about something else and I said, “Forget about all that. Is this movie going to happen?” I was sitting on his couch, and he’s like, “Look behind you.” And I look behind me and it’s a wall with a big, huge corkboard on it with all these 3x5 cards. That’s what these writers do, they do the whole story on 3x5 cards. He’s like, “That’s the movie.”
PETER BERG: We’re doing the movie.

“I’ve always, always loved comedy and dramatic work equally. In an ideal world I’m in a role where I get to actually do both just because the truth is, in my experience, a rich life has extraordinarily funny moments and also extraordinarily intense moments and those are the kind of lives that I want to portray in characters.”
Question: What celebrity would be a good politician?
Rachel Maddow: I’m going to say… Mrs. Coach from Friday Night Lights… because I think she can move anyone to do anything and our country will need that.Andy Cohen: Is that Connie Britton?
Rachel: Yes… Connie Britton.
Connie Britton: I will always miss Tami Taylor.
She also talks about American Horror Story and her role on Nashville, Faith Hill was her country singer inspiration!
Connie Britton talks about transitioning from the sitcom world to shows you may have heard of like “Friday Night Lights” and “American Horror Story”. AND she’s a twin. PLUS she spent two years in the bureaucratic brambles of the African adoption system to get her son, Yobi. ALSO, she is truly hilarious. Now that I think about it, she may be perfect.
